Martha Hanks career encompasses over 40 years of education in East Palo Alto, California. She has taught grades K-12 and Adult ESL. She has taught at Nairobi Day and High Schools from 1970 through 1979. In 1980, she started teaching in the Ravenswood City School District (Grades k-8th) and retired in 2008. She continued to work in the RCSD as a substitute teacher until March of 2020.

Frank J. Omowale Satterwhite an organizational and community change consultant who completed a B.A. degree at Howard University, a M.S. degree at Southern Illinois University, and a Ph.D. degree at Stanford University. Omowale is the President of Leadership Incorporated, a nonprofit consulting firm focused on building capacity for social change in communities of color.

Stephanie Smith is an aspiring architectural and civil drafter born and raised in East Palo Alto, California. Her goal is to work on projects that revitalize and redefine neighborhoods that have been historically disenfranchised, including East Palo Alto.
